Abstract:

The survey of effective factors on rainfall-Runoff relations cause to improve Mathematical models to analysis that phenomena. For this reason, first of all at 80 experimental plots the correlation matrices among runoff coefficient and some other environmental factors conclude from the topography: plot's length and slop percentage, from the soil: clay, silt, sand all percentage, EC, pH, Strength coefficient, gravel percentage and sum of gravel and litter percentage and from the vegetation cover: canopy and organic matter have been surveyed. In the next step at 77 and after 75 plots two rainfall single events with duration of more than 24h and average intensity of 1.5 mm/h selected and mathematical model of accumulated infiltration with relation to plot's length based on regression prepared. After, the prepared model tested by a group of plots with equal condition except length and rainfall depth of 38.2 and 34.8mm. The result is that by increasing the plot's length the accumulated infiltration depth added but the intensity of effectiveness of plot's length on accumulated infiltration depth decrease with increasing length of plot and finally after nearly 22m length the variation of the curve of accumulated infiltration depth with plot's length roughly convert to a linear variation with light gradient.

Abstract:

In this paper we distinguish between operational risks depending on whether the operational risk naturally arises in the context of model risk. As the pricing model exposes itself to operational errors whenever it updates and improves its invest-ment model and other related parameters. In this case, it is no longer optimal to implement the best model. Generally, an option is exercised in a jump-diffusion model, if the stock price either exactly hits the early exercise boundary or the price jumps into the exercise price region. However paths of the diffusion process are continuous. In this paper the impact of operational risk on the option pricing through the implementation of Mitra’ s model with jump diffusion model is pre-sented. A partial integral differential equation is derived and the impact of param-eters of Merton’ s model on operational risk and option value by operational value at risk measure is employed. The option values in the presence of operational risk on data set are computed and some of the results are presented.

Abstract:

Among the alternative techniques available for flood control, infiltration of rainwater is one of the most important methods to control stormwater effects. Conceptual river infiltration models are very useful for application to control urban flood water, especially in the case of infiltration basins. Contrary to mathematical models, these models are very simple, and unlike empirical models, their parameters are very easy to calculate. Four selected models (Dupuit-Forchheimer, Ernst, Miles and Morel-Seytoux) were employed for simulation of the infiltration process in infiltration basins. The study showed that the hydrograph computed by these models were closely similar to the real hydrograph. The three models (Dupuit-Forchheimer, Ernst, and Miles) showed far lower sensitivity to their parameters than the Morel-Seytoux one.

Abstract:

In this paper, considering the signaling theory that corporate managers have more information about the value of the company, they consider the policy of distributing unique profits to transfer information to the market. Accordingly, there is a close relationship between information asymmetry and profit sharing policy. Thus, managers create profit-sharing policies by creating information shocks caused by asymmetry. To achieve the research goal, the data of 90 sample companies were collected in the period 2012-2018 and were analyzed by descriptive-correlation analysis with multiple regression and Wong tests. The findings showed that among the internal information shocks (fundamental changes in the institutional mock-up and fundamental changes in the board of directors), the internal information shocks (fundamental changes in the board of directors) are more related to the policy of profit sharing and accumulated abnormal returns than other variables .the internal information shocks (fundamental changes in the board of directors) are more related to the policy of profit sharing and accumulated abnormal returns than other variables .

Abstract:

Assume we have k immediate (due)-annuities with different interest rates. Let i = (i1; i2; : : :; ik) and i = (i 1; i 2; : : :; i k) be two vectors of interest rates such that i is majorized by i. It's shown that sum of present and accumulated value of annuities-immediate with interest rate i is grater than sum of present value of annuities-immediate with interest rate i . We also prove the similar results for annuities-due.

Abstract:

One of the important factors on soil infiltration is the crop cover. Temporal variation of infiltration causes change in application efficiency. For evaluating temporal variation of infiltration two methods namely double rings and advance phase in border were used. The irrigation method was border and the crop type was Chickling Vetch . Infiltration equation used in this study was Kostiakov-Lewis. The double rings method was used in the bare land. The infiltration parameters were determined using the method of advance phase in border for 0 , 20 , 40 , 60 , 80 and 100 percent of crop cover. The results show that infiltration characteristics change with changing crop cover percentage. The cumulative infiltration for a target time decrease with increasing crop cover percentage. In this research the double rings and advance phase methods were compared. The results showed that the cumulative infiltration was greater than that for double rings method. In addition the infiltration parameters using the two methods were compared.

Abstract:

In this paper we consider a single machine system that produces items part of which are defective. The defective items produced in a time period, consisting of several equal cycles, are accumulated and are all reworked in the last cycle of this period called the rework cycle. At the end of the rework cycle the whole process will start all over again. The first significant objective of this study is that, for the ease of production and resource planning, the rework cycle has to have the same length as the other cycles. The other objective is that the number of rework cycles be as small as possible, because of changeover costs needed for going from normal production to rework as well as special attention required for rework to satisfy the zero defect criterion. For this system, assuming no shortages are permitted we drive the total system cost per unit time and obtain the economic batch quantity which minimizes this total cost.

Abstract:

Bending instability is a significant reason for the success of the electrospinning process for decreasing the fiber’s diameter to nanometer scales and a determining factor in final fiber morphology. Observation of electrospinning of different polymers revealed that electrospun fibers accumulate in a circular area with various diameters in the case of a stationary flat plate target. There is an idea that the diameter of accumulated surface (ASD) is controlled by bending instability, and there is a correlation between electrospun fiber diameter and ASD. In this study, the accumulation behaviors of Polystyrene (PS), Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), and coaxially electrospun fibers of PS-PMMA were evaluated concerning their ASD sizes, the rate of ASD’s growth, and the correlation between ADS size and the final diameters. To determine the role of processing parameters on this behavior and the relationship between the ASD and final fiber diameter, some experiments were designed for three factors of voltage, flow rate, and tip to target distance for electrospun fiber diameters and ASD in PMMA electrospinning. Two polynomial equations were found (via regression). Then, the polynomial models statistically were analyzed and discussed. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and fluorescent microscopy were applied for morphological studies, and Image J were used for measuring the sizes. The results demonstrated that during the electrospinning, the ASD grew with the natural logarithm of time and so ended to a plateau (specific diameter), and after that, the upcoming electrospun fibers accumulated on the former ones. Moreover, bigger ASDs were accompanied by smaller electrospun fiber diameters.
